After receiving questions from members about “When is Zones training?” it has been brought to our attention that riders are waiting for the request to attend training sessions or extra rallies in preparation for Zones.
This year, as we are not competing in the Team on the Flat event, no extra trainings or rallies have been scheduled for riders. There are no special trainings for those who are competing at the 2012 Northern Zone Eliminations (to be held at Port Augusta Pony Club) as all of the events we are filling are individual. However, members only are welcome to use the grounds outside of rallies to practise for competitions, including Zones, but no instructors will be present and the clubrooms will not be unlocked. If any equipment is damaged please report it to the Committee.
It is up to each rider individually to be prepared for Zones. Do not rely on the club for training.
If you are interested in competing at the Northern Zone Eliminations this year and have not yet told Louisa, please do so ASAP so that we can gauge the number of riders competing (particularly in dressage as there is a low limit for competitors in each level). If you have told Louisa, please let her know of any changes in what you would like to compete in. The club completes the entry form - if Louisa doesn’t know, you miss out!
We hope to have a great turnout of Crystal Brook Pony Club members at this year’s Zones, and to continue our history of very successful riders.
