Working Bee – Sunday 19th of June

June 5, 2011

We are holding a working bee on Sunday the 19th of June, starting at 10:00am.

The main project for this working bee will be starting to put together the round yard, though there are plenty of other things that can be done (weeding, spraying, clubrooms cleaning, etc).

We’re hoping to finish up at around lunch time, so hopefully all the jobs will be done by then!

It’s really important that as many members as possible come to the working bees that are held. With luck we’ll get most of our members there and pitching in to get as many jobs done as possible – there’s a fair bit to do! Helping out at working bees also contributes to earning the Service to club badge!

Don’t forget to RSVP!

Beach Ride – Sunday 12th of December

December 4, 2010

We have organised a beach ride at Port Germein on Sunday the 12th of December.

Riders will be riding off at 4pm, so make sure that you arrive early enough to have time to saddle and prepare.

We will all be meeting at the Esplanade on West Terrace (in the same place as last time).

Everyone will most likely be split into 2 groups; a “fast” group and a “slow” group. The riders in the fast group will be mainly trotting and cantering, whereas the slower group will have riders that aren’t very confident or need assistance riding. The groups will be decided on the day.

Families will need to bring a plate to share and their own plates, knives, forks etc, and water for both themselves and their horses (there is no water there).

Any members who would like to participate, please contact Louisa to let her know you will be coming.
